Jiu Jitsu is a Grappling Art that entails Takedowns, Chokes, Joint Locks, and Pins to achieve control and submission over ones opponent. Jiu Jitsu is a predominantly ground based Martial Art with its roots stemming from Japan and Brazil. 

As with any Combat Sport Jiu Jitsu does carry the possibility of injury. We take great steps to ensure that everyone trains safe and are aware of the risks and how to mitigate them.

We are a No-Gi Jiu Jitsu Academy. No-Gi is typically a faster style with more of an emphasis on Attacking and ensuring that your controls are solid and your defenses allow you to be able to counter attack efficiently and effectively.
